It has been a long while since we have blogged about our Kitchen and the meals we are creating. Mostly because we have been working on a boat and had meals cooked for us, leaving little opportunity to get creative. But now we are bon land and taking control with a healthy eating plan.
So here's what was on the menu this week...
Monday
Porridge oats with apple and pear compote
Cheese Sandwich / Crackers
3- Bean chilli with brown rice
Tuesday
Fresh fruit and greek yoghurt
Lentil, courgette and pear salad
Mexican vegetable wraps, with salsa and guacamole
Wedenesday
Spinach omelette with sliced tomatoes
Cauliflower, chickpea and orange salad
Snack/ Drinks on the roof terrace - G&T with green olives and semicured goats cheese
Lentil and vegetable lasagne
Thursday
Muesli and banana with semi skimmed milk
3- Bean salad
Vegetable noodle soup, with coconut milk
Friday
Rye Crackers with cheese
Fresh tagliatelle with chilli and garlic oil, 3 bean salad and sauted courgettes
Baked whole trout with smashed herb potatoes and brocoli (bottle white wine)
Saturday
Fresh fruit, greek yoghurt and a spoonful of muesli
Cold roasted chicken with brown rice, sauted spinach, peas and yoghurt
Selection of tapas and red wine at our local
Sunday is a "free day" so we shall indulge in fresh bread at breakfast and a slice of chocolate cake for afternoon tea.
